Tom is a specialist property tax adviser with mixed tax expertise. With almost 20 years’ experience in the Tax and Accountancy sector, he leads the Property Tax team at Affinia and is a Stamp Duty Land Tax expert. Tom enjoys working on settlements and enquiries with HMRC having successfully settled a number of disguised remuneration cases and non-compliance by offshore entities through the Worldwide Disclosure facilities. These resulted in great value added benefits for his clients in agreeing common sense settlements with HMRC. Other notable matters include highly contentious and complex SDLT cases and de-enveloping of offshore property.
